Month to month, Apple continues to add incredible new content to its TV+ lineup. Our top picks for February

The Snoopy Show

Everyone’s favorite Peanuts mutt is back with his very own show. Featuring the likes of Woodstock, Charlie Brown, and many other familiar faces, the show sees the iconic pooch take to the skies in his fighter plane, chill on top of his doghouse, and other notable Snoopy quips. The result of a partnership between Peanuts and the production company WildBrain, each episode features several sketches with a brilliant animation style that pays respectful tribute to various Peanuts productions of years past. The series premieres on February 5.

For All Mankind: Season 2

In the quest for space-age dominance, the stakes always seem to get higher and higher. In this alternative take on the Cold War era from Ronald D. Moore, season 2 takes place in 1983, a decade after the events of the first season. Conflicts in the latest chapter of this engaging historical redirect include a mineral war between the U.S. and Russia over who gets to mine the moon, the first space shuttle, and the suspicion that Russia is sitting on nuclear weaponry. All 10 episodes of season 2 will be available on February 19.

Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry

From R.J. Cutler (Belushi, If I Stay) comes this deep-dive doc on the life and career of renowned singer-songwriter, Billie Eilish. Chronicling the pop star’s rise to international fame, the doc explores Billie’s writing process, family life, and experiences on the road. When Cutler met with Eilish to discuss initial ideas for the film, the artist told him she wanted the doc to resemble the talking-head stylings of The Office. Fans of the pop star will also be glad to know that the film’s original score was composed by both Billie and her brother, Finneas. This all-new doc drops on February 26.

Dickinson

Season 2 of this Hailee Steinfeld dramatic comedy period series began streaming on January 8, with Steinfeld returning to the fictionalized role of a young Emily Dickinson. With a modern spin and cheeky humor (with good fun poked at influencers and podcasters), Dickinson is a playful jab at the era, as Emily rebels against the repressive nature of the times, and her parents, and navigates the dramatic trials and tribulations of her love life, all the while committing her thoughts and emotions to ink through her poetry. Season 2 sees Emily start to experience fame as a writer, something that the real Dickinson never did while she was alive.

Palmer

Palmer stars Justin Timberlake as Eddie Palmer, a former college football star whose life has taken more than a few twists and turns. After he’s released from prison, Palmer’s homecoming is not what he anticipated. Thinking he’s going to move forward without hindrance, the hometown hero faces his demons at every turn, but more surprisingly, he finds himself having to take in a young boy abandoned by his troubled mother. A promising drama with an impressive lead, Palmer also stars Juno Temple, June Squibb, Alisha Wainwright, and Ryder Allen.

Looking ahead for Apple TV+

Cherry, an Apple Original Film starring Tom Holland, premieres on March 12th. Foundation, based on the series of books by Isaac Asimov, is dropping sometime in 2021, along with Snow Blind, a graphic novel adaptation starring Jake Gyllenhaal. We can also look forward to Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro and Emancipation, a new film from Training Day writer-director Antoine Fuqua.
