It provides a snug fit, the raised bezels at the front help to protect the screen, and it offers reasonable drop protection considering its slim build. Although the hard bumper comes in various different colors, we particularly like the rose gold and champagne gold options.

Vesel Wood Series Case

If you’re looking for something minimalist, protective, and luxurious, then Vesel’s gorgeous bumpers could be for you. Precisely cut from aluminum and quality woods, these hand-finished bumpers are eye-catching, but they don’t cramp the style of your iPhone 6S. You get a wee screwdriver in the box to help you securely fit your bumper and it extends from the front to the back to protect your phone. The cut-outs are accurate and there are aluminum button covers affixed to the wooden frame, each of which works with a simple click. This is the first clear case Speck has offered, but it didn’t have to compromise those protective credentials. Unlike other clear TPE cases, there’s a special layer to prevent yellowing over time, so it should keep its perfect transparent look. The cut-outs are exact and big enough that the case doesn’t interfere with everyday use. The button covers are easy to find without glancing at the case. There’s also a raised bezel to protect the screen.

Griffin Survivor Summit Case

Anyone seeking some serious protection for their new phone is going to want to check out the Summit case. This is part of Griffin’s Survivor series and capable of withstanding all the trials of a rugged outdoor adventure. It can handle drops from up to 10 feet, while still keeping your iPhone 6S safe inside. It’s also impervious to rain, sand, and dust. The textured finish provides added grip, there are covers for the buttons and ports, and there’s a built-in screen protector. It is quite chunky, so it masks Apple’s elegant design; but think of it as an overcoat for your phone, with a bulletproof vest inside.
